Do you have any dating advice for a single MOM? I am reluctant to make any advancements with men I meet because I feel that I simply don’t have the time. My daughter is with me EVERY DAY and it’s very rare for me to have even one night a week to myself. I find myself explaining this to any man who approaches me. I feel like I have to get it out there first thing so they know the situation. Most guys ‘BOLT’ as soon as they find out I have a kid and if they don’t, they…Continue
Richard greeted me from the living room couch with the warmest smile, as Angela led me through the cozy corridors of their character home to their bedroom. I usually prefer to hold boudoir sessions in clients homes - there's always a unique perspective and a more comfortable atmosphere. This boudoir photo session ... read more on this vancouver wedding photographer blog here.… Continue
“What not do to on a first date” seems to have been the question on people’s mind this past week. It was the first question I’d hear once people realize I’m a dating coach. Then, I came across this video from a Matchmaker called Paul Brunson located in the U.S. As the cliché question one can find answers to on sites like MSN, it got me a bit worried. Worried about the over emphasis some people put on the first date.
The famous Canadian band has been in all music related articles lately after a recent review made by Billboard. The Top in 2009 list includes artists such as Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, The Black Eyed Peas, and of course Nickelback. Only two albums released in the years between 2005 and 2009 managed to get in the Top 20 of the 2000s’ bestsellers and one of them is Nickelback’s All the Right Reasons. For Number One song of the 2000s was named also a Nickelback song, “How… Continue

“… Research also shows that as people become lonely, they become less trustful of others, and a cycle develops that makes it harder for them to form friendships…” exert from the Science Daily
This got me thinking of those that talk about “taking a break from dating”. But what does it exactly mean? And is it to our advantage to adopt this frame of mind?...
A woman (aka Jackie) recently asked me for advice regarding a dilemma she was having. She really likes this guy (aka Mike) who came back into her life as she’s seeing two other people. She’s unsure if she should cut ties with Mike, welcome him back into her life and rid herself of these 2 other guys or do the same while keeping the other 2.
Jackie’s story with Mike is a common one. Jackie and Mike met, they liked each other, became intimate, Mike’s past issues surfaced, Jackie… Continue

Pouring rain, window, me looking out of the window on this Sunday morning. This is the scene as I prepare myself to share some insights regarding dating conversations I’ve had this past week.
Breaking dating patterns seem to have been the most emotionally charged topic of conversation on people’s tongue this week. The common questions I received were:
* What am I doing wrong?
* Why does it keep on happening to me?
* I need help what should I do?
“You can meet the best people in the world & still screw it up because you don’t know how to date”. Exert from an article titled “Dating in the downturn” in The Economist.
I wouldn’t quite put it this way but I definitely believe some singles adopt attitudes that prevent them from making the most out of their dating experiences. Most of us have the opportunity to go on dates whether they are blind dates friends deliver to us on a sliver platter, dates set up by a… Continue

“This happens to all of us!
You can find yourself chatting to a girl/guy that you like, you’ve been chatting for 5-10 minutes and then it all goes silent, what sort of questions are you likely to ask to get the conversation flowing again?
Those awkward silence’s are just painful.”
Lee, thanks for bringing up an issue that many men and women experience. So jumping right into it, the reason these conversations go silent after 5-10mns is… Continue
So far it’s been a productive day considering I attended a networking breakfast meeting bright and early. 6:45 A.M to be exact! I thereafter pit stopped at Starbucks as part of my daily morning ritual.
View Starbucks as my second office. In there, I get to complete admin work on my laptop, read and do online research in order to bring YOU the best dating insights. After sipping away for a while on my usual Tall Signature Hot Chocolate (not a coffee drinker), I realized my laptop… Continue

I get on the train before she does and it is very quit in the morning. I was thinking of talking to her once we get to the city and everyone is getting off. But how do i break the ice and ask? I was thinking of just introducing myself and asking for the number This is how it plays out in my head: “Hey my…Continue
“What should a man’s boundaries be around girls flaking? Let me give you a few scenarios I’ve dealt with lately – I would love to hear your responses:
1) She cancels four hours before for a seemingly legitimate reason.
2) She shows up 15 minutes late
3) She shows up 30 minutes late
4) She doesn’t show up, calls an hour after the appointed time to explain that ’something came up’ but she’d like to reschedule. 5) She no shows and three days later gets in touch wanting to…Continue
